IMG_6536 From the whole team at TAYSF, we would like to thank everyone who joined our launch party and who made the night in the Maxfield’s room at the classy Palace Hotel a merger success story!

In addition to presenting the official launch of our new website, TAYSF’s executive director Rachel Antrobus and former HEY executive director Sara Razavi welcomed newcomers and familiar faces to our staff.

The list of newcomers include project manager Allison Cohen who will spearhead this year’s projects, project associate Julie Michelle, and young adult advocate Jose-Luis Mejia. The staff from HEY who will continue to work at TAYSF include AmeriCorps VISTA Justin Slaughter, graphic designer Josefina Bolufer, and young adult advocate Claudia Mendez. Rachel also thanked advocate Anthony Jenkins, who will leave TAYSF for a position at Larkin Street Youth Services this month, for his contributions.  Sara Razavi said goodbye to old friends from HEY who will not continue with TAYSF, including project coordinator Leslie Brown and project manager Dana Mandolesi, but whose invaluable work will live-on vicariously. Both will be missed.

The party was a reminder to how elated we are to have—and have had—such a committed and skilled staff, one that will surely uphold our commitment to implement a city-wide system of support for disconnected youth in San Francisco. Thank you.
